THE PURPOSE
Hartsville has Heart is a local charity organization geared toward helping the members of our community with a emphasis on the elderly population. All funds raised by this organization stays in this community.
Organized by local grocer, Mark Presley, in 2020 after the March 3rd tornadoes ripped through near by areas leaving wreckage and devastation in its path. Presley began to gather supplies and volunteers to go into the effected areas.
With one simple thought and act of kindness and compassion, Hartsville has Heart was born.
Currently the organization has built wheel chair ramps, put in water lines, and bought groceries for those in a time if need.
